about me
I have spent most of the last decade and a half honing my craft as an expert plant-based chef, going from washing dishes and mopping floors in the early days, to extensive prep work, and eventually to head chef of one of Los Angeles' premier meal delivery services. I know I skipped over a lot of my story, but you get the idea, plus you don't need to hear about every second-degree burn and sliced fingertip. In addition, I've made a name for myself in the world of vegan cookbookery, having had two well-reviewed, and highly-rated vegan cookbooks published. Furthermore, I have created a series of successful - not entirely "safe for work" - cooking videos, a recipe blog, and a well-followed social media presence. I have also made numerous television appearances, been featured on the New York Times.com, The Huffington Post, The Vegetarian Times, VegWorld Magazine, and was a regular food columnist/recipe developer for VegNews Magazine.

Oh look! There's one of my babies on the cover right there! It's a soyrizo and black bean patty, with pepper jack cheese sauce, sauteed red cabbage, fresh tomatillos, avocado and cilantro mayo. Yeah. It's as good as it sounds...and looks.
